We want to hear what people think about Norfolk Gardens today and how the space contributes to life in Bradford city centre.

The recent improvements were designed to make Norfolk Gardens greener, more welcoming and easier to access. Now that the work is complete and people have had time to experience the space, we want to know how they feel about Norfolk Gardens today and whether their views have changed.

    • Better walking routes

    • To feel safter

    • A more vibrant city centre

    Based on this feedback, Bradford Council developed plans for Norfolk Gardens that aimed to:

    • Create a more attractive city-centre environment

    • Improve access and connections through the area

    • Enhance green spaces

    • Support a safer and more welcoming public space

    • Encourage people to spend more time in the city centre

    This evaluation survey will help the council understand whether the improvements have achieved their aims and how people’s views have changed since the work was completed.

  • The findings will help the council understand the impact of the investment, and help identify opportunities for future improvements.

    Evidence gathered through the survey may be used to:

    • Support future funding opportunities

    • Inform improvements to public spaces

    • Guide regeneration projects across the Bradford district

    • Shape future transport and place-making plans

  • In April 2025, Bradford Council completed significant improvements to Norfolk Gardens as part of the transformation of Bradford city centre.
