We want to hear what people think about Norfolk Gardens today, and how the space contributes to life in Bradford city centre.
The recent improvements to Norfolk Gardens were designed to create a greener, more welcoming and accessible city-centre space. Now that the works have been completed, we want to know how people feel about the area, and understand if perceptions have changed.
Your answers will help us evaluate the success of the project and shape future investment in Bradford city centre.

When Bradford Council consulted on the proposals prior to construction, respondents highlighted a want for:
Better public spaces
More greenery
Improved walking environments
Increased feelings of safety
A more vibrant city centre
Based on the feedback, Bradford Council had several aims that guided the designs, including:
Creating a more attractive city-centre environment
Improving access and connectivity
Enhancing green space
Supporting a safer and more welcoming public realm
Encouraging people to spend time in the city centre
The survey will help the council understand whether the improvements have achieved their intended aims and how public perceptions have changed since the improvements were completed.

The findings will help the council gauge the impact of the investment, and help identify opportunities for future improvements. Evidence gathered through the survey may be used to:
Support future funding opportunities
Inform future public realm improvements
Guide city-centre regeneration projects
Shape future transport and place-making initiatives
