Soft landscaping added to Jacobs Well
This week, the focus is on soft landscaping (meaning adding decorative elements like plants and grass), with new turfing, shrubs, and trees being planted at Jacobs Well and along the route to Nelson Street and Channing Way, contributing to the transformative works in the area.
Turf is also being added to the Bridge Street planter near Sunbridge Road, next to the newly reinstalled tram tracks. You can learn more about this in last weeks newsletter.

Bradford Interchange Bus Station now open
Bradford Interchange bus station reopened to the public in January 2025, and bus services are now operating from the upper concourse.
Due to ongoing resurfacing works, around six bus stands will stay out of action until at least April 2025. Therefore, some bus services will remain on-street until that time.
This week’s construction, traffic, and access updates
Traffic management
There are currently no active or planned traffic management measures in place in the city centre. Most of the transformation works were completed in December 2024, and the newly pedestrianised streets are fully open to the public.
